San Diego radio station DJ's "Jeff and Jer" of
the KFMB FM
morning show (now known as Jack FM) used to do a bit every Tuesday in the
2003 season called "Talk-to-Tuesdays". The
idea was
simple: Will people talk to recordings of celebrities and other people?
Well, you can read all about the bit that Jeff and Jer did with
soundboards on my soundboard page.
Anyway, Rick took a prank call
they made to a woman with a Dr. Evil soundboard and made a soundboard
out of her. He named the victim "Cracky McClure", and with her sound
bites, created a long-term soundboard prank bit that is still used to
this day.
This is legend in San Diego, and I have
received e-mails from all over the country asking for these calls, so
here they are. Listen to the original call to Cracky McClure and then
lsiten as they use Cracky's drops to
create the best prank calls ever.

The Truck Stop
Jeff and Jer called a truck stop, and got in touch with Diane. She
was ready to fight. Pay attention to Diane's voice... she gets
another call soon!
Cracky Jo? Producer Rick Moorten
had Jeff and Jer call the same business where the original Cracky
McClure person answered the phone. The person sounds like she could
be Cracky's daughter or sister. You'd think they would recognize a
co-worker's voice!
I'm Busy
This guy was nice as could be. Warm up. Let the police handle it.
Police Will Track Your Number
Jeff and Jer reset the Cracky McClure bit and the warm up call ends
up threatening police action yet again.
Police Officer! An impatient guy
threatens to put Cracky on with a cop. Not exactly side-splitting...
but there it is.
Return to The Truck Stop
Jeff and Jer called the truck stop back, and got Diane again! She
starts out very polite and happy! The file ends prematurely. :-(

some more drops to use.

From one human being to another, Cracky makes everyone upset and
call the PO-lice.
Cracky's Back
Jeff and Jer give Cracky a break for a few months after a strong
first run of calls. This file has a good reset for the bit, and then
Cracky calls a few random places to warm up new drops.
